Pfeiffer IMR265 熱陰極離子真空計  的詳細介紹
按工業標準的定義,真空 (Vacuum) 就是 “ 低于一個標準大氣壓的氣體充滿空間的狀態 ” 。如圖 1 : Overview of vacuum ,隨著壓力或單位體積內分子數的減少,真空度的大小各不相同。

真空度的單位與壓強的單位一樣,用 Pa , mbar 等表示。有兩種表示方式:絕對真空度與相對真空度。一般說,用絕對真空度比較好理解,即準確說出當前的壓力和壓強是多少。對高低不同的真空進行測量,所依據的原理也各不相同。

一、低真空度的測量原理

低真空度是指 1000 mbar ~ 1 mbar 范圍內的真空。此范圍內,由壓強變化引起的壓力變化比較明顯,可以通過測 量力的變化來測量出真空度,如:薄膜真空計,通過應力片,感知設計好的薄膜上力的變化,得知當前的真空度。如 Pfeiffer 的 CPT100 及 APR 系列 , 就應用了 Piezo 膜應力片,來檢知壓力的細微變化,從而測量出真空度。 電容真空計,由于壓力不同,會引起電容兩極距離的變化,這會使電容的大小發生變化。這樣通過測量這種電容大小的變化,就能得知當前的真空度。如 Pfeiffer 的 CMR 系列。

二、中真空度的測量原理

中真空度是指 1 mbar ~ 1*10 -3 mbar 范圍內的真空。此范圍內,壓力的絕對大小變的不容易測得,但空氣的熱傳導能力顯的很有特點。這樣也有兩種方法可以測量出真空度:電容真空計 (capacitance manometer) 通過調節預設壓力的大小,電容真空計可以完成中真空度范圍的測量。在 Pfeiffer 的 CMR 系列中, CMR 275 可測到 10 -5 mbar 數量級。 皮拉尼( Pirani )真空計,中真空度條件下,空氣流動的方式是層流,熱傳導能力與真空度線性對應。因此可以通過測量恒溫電阻絲上的電流大小,測得真空度。如 Pfeiffer 的 TPR 系列,及一系列復合真空計中的低中真空探頭,都是采用的 Pirani 管。

三、高真空度或超高真空度的測量原理

高真空是指 1*10 -3 mbar ~ 1*10 -7 mbar 范圍內的真空,超高真空是指 1*10 -7 mbar ~ 1*10 -11 mbar 范圍內的真空。在這樣的范圍內,再去通過測量壓力的大小來測量壓強,測量的精度及可靠性,就比較難實現。壓強的大小一方面體現為力的大小,另一方面還體現為單位體積內分子數的多少。在高真空條件下,可以通過計量單位體積內分子數的多少,來測知當前的真空度。那么如何獲得單位體積內的分子數呢?我們知道:電子在相同的電子能量,相同的磁場中,所引起的分子電離電流越大,說明分子數密度越大。離子真空計就是在高真空條件下,通過計量分子電離電流的大小來測得分子數密度,從而測得真空度。

離子真空計有兩種形式:冷陰極離子真空計( Cold cathode ionization vacuum gauge ),是通過加在陰陽兩極間的高電壓( 3 kv 左右),激出電子,同時這個電場又給了電子能量,用具有一定能量的電子去電離空氣分子。為了提高靈敏度,使得到的電離電流盡可能的大,一般將陰極做成空心圓柱狀,將針狀的陽極放在陰極中間,同時在陰極外圍設置磁場。這樣的條件下,電子的運動路徑會形成螺旋狀,電離空氣的機會大大增加,這樣就使得電離的電流盡可能的大,提高了真空計的靈敏度及精度。Pfeiffer 的冷陰極離子真空計 IKR 系列,測量范圍為: 1*10 -2 mbar ~ 1*10 -11 mbar ,精度為: ± 30% reading ,重復精度: ± 5%.

熱陰極離子真空計 (Hot cathode ionization vacuum gauge) ,是通過加熱陰極,激出電子,再設置一定的電場( 100 v 左右),給電子一定的能量,去電離空氣分子。熱陰極離子真空計在收集電離電流方面與冷陰極離子真空計有一些區別,并不是計量陰陽兩極間的電流,而是另外設置了電流收集器( ion collector ) , 結構比較復雜,但測量精度特別是重復精度也相應提高,如 Pfeiffer 的 IMR 265 ,重復精度達到了 2% reading 。離子真空計的使用需要注意:1. 測得的真空度與分子的種類有關。因為不同的氣體,被電離的能力不一樣,讀取的真空度并不是最后的結果,需要按給定的系數進行轉換后,才能得到正確的結果。為 Pfeiffer 的冷陰極離子真空計 IKR / PKR 系列,在 10 -5 mbar 條件下的轉換公式及轉換系數:Pfeiffer 的冷陰極離子真空計 IKR 系列,測量范圍為: 1*10 -2 mbar ~ 1*10 -11 mbar ,精度為: ± 30% reading ,重復精度: ± 5%.熱陰極離子真空計 (Hot cathode ionization vacuum gauge) ,是通過加熱陰極,激出電子,再設置一定的電場( 100 v 左右),給電子一定的能量,去電離空氣分子。熱陰極離子真空計在收集電離電流方面與冷陰極離子真空計有一些區別,并不是計量陰陽兩極間的電流,而是另外設置了電流收集器( ion collector ) , 結構比較復雜,但測量精度特別是重復精度也相應提高,如 Pfeiffer 的 IMR 265 ,重復精度達到了 2% reading 。
